About the New Site
Dear site visitors,
I originally wrote the "Biblical Kosher" study to help others understand my own choices and path of observance. To make it more easily accessible and to enable more people to benefit from the information, I created the web site biblicalkosher.alittlehebrew.com in late 2008.
Since that time, more than 18,000 unique visitors have come to my site. I am thankful that it has been useful to many people. The site presented my conclusions free of charge, with no ads or flashy banners other than a simple "donate" button. In the three years that this web site has been active, six individuals contributed the sum of $92.
After extensive research, I have expanded and enhanced the material and released it as a book published through First Fruits of Zion. The material in this book is now more accurate, more scholarly, and more comprehensive than the original study. It is more than double the size, and it includes a thorough discussion of New Testament passages which are used to assert that followers of Yeshua do not need to keep kosher.
With the release of the book, it was time to shut down the old site. This new site will now serve to supplement the information presented in the book.
